Flats in Plaid

This are my first flats and I inserted an intricate plaid I developed in Photoshop. It is really fascinating to see how your work is digitized and gets more professional every time.

Foundation Work

This is some of my work from Foundation year. All of the drawings were developed from live models and the pattern is painted by hand with acrylic, the hues were developed by me as well.

Shoes

This is are my shoe designs, based on the print I developed for Digital class. They are focused towards outerwear, a new modern look with a cool street style, meant for both mean and women of all ages. They were inspired out of the idea of a concrete jungle, which is how i visualize New York as.

A different take on the 20s. John Galliano RTW 06

Against a schlocky 1920's Art Deco theater set, he sent out a parade of proud couples—grande dames and gigolos, blondes and sugar daddies, fat ladies and admiring lovers, lipstick lesbians, bearded transvestites, and midget fiancés—about to be wed.

The Age of Elegance

From Larchmont, New York, a pair of identical twins conquered Manhattan, Rome, and international high society, turning heads with their beauty and polish. Following the death last year of Countess Consuelo Crespi, at 82, Bob Colacello talks to her sister, Gloria Schiff, and other intimates about the two women’s glittering marriages, their fashion influence, and the style icons—Gianni Agnelli, Audrey Hepburn, Jacqueline Kennedy, Diana Vreeland, and Valentino, to name a few—who were drawn into their exquisite orbit.

3D Runway Fashion.

Naturally, most live models walking on a catwalk are three dimensional, or nearly so, but Norma Kamali, for one, sees a greater potential for showing clothes in a 3-D film format, as she plans to do on Sept. 14. The clothes can be seen in more detail, she said, and the exact same show can then be seen by anyone watching from home on a computer. “Video is more descriptive, more entertaining and, really, the most detailed way to present a collection,” Ms. Kamali said.
Preparing her collection, she made a short film and a look book of images using 3-D technology that can be viewed in different formats, including with any old red/blue cardboard glasses. (They are scheduled to be shown at normakamali3d.com beginning Sept. 15.)

Sergio Davila - NY Fashion Week

This is a designer I assisted during Fashion Week. His RTW line really reflects the current trends and I believe he asserted as to were fashion is headed.

Shoes - Dries van Noten Fashion Week

T plucks the best shoes right off the runway.

Many of the shoes at Dries Van Noten were versions of this one, with simple black lasts and heels, metallic leather harnesses and long strips of fabric that wrapped across the top of the foot and around ankle like ribbons, securing them in place. The bigger and floppier the bow, the better, especially when paired with shorts or skinny capri pants.
